Destiny 2: 10 Big Fixes & Improvements It Must Make

1. A Coherent Story

By now, it's common knowledge that Bungie encountered serious issues during Destiny's creation that caused several headaches for its team during development, but nothing took a bigger hit in the final product than its story elements, or, ultimately, lack thereof.

From characters seemingly integral to the game's plot (for crying out loud, who is the Exo Stranger?) being introduced then never being seen or spoken of ever again to important in-world events being truncated to the point of redundancy, Destiny's story, as it stands, frequently feels like a collection of intriguing narrative strands headed in no discernable direction.

The only saving grace at this point are Grimoire Cards, but even the well-written nature of those bite-sized snippets of lore aren't enough to paint a clear picture of Destiny's universe, not least because they're only accessible via Bungie's website. Immersive they are not.

Let's try and keep a clear, central story in mind this time around eh, Bungie?
