10. Two Endgame Quests Give Guaranteed Exotics

The hunt for Exotic weapons is where Destiny really comes into its own - at least where character creation and online aesthetics are concerned. Actually getting Exotics boils down to very rare drops from caves and side mission-ending chests, though there are two specific missions you can undertake after the story that guarantee a weapon each.

Named Sturm and the MIDA Multi-Tool (a Hand Cannon and Scout Rifle, respectively), head to Nessus and undertake the "O Captain" quest that's now next to Failsafe for the former, or go to Earth and hit up the Enhance quest for the latter.

Honestly both quests are quite protracted in terms of farming items and engrams to trade for their various steps, but both guns are incredibly powerful and well worth the time invested.

Lastly, there is another pre-order exclusive Exotic named Coldheart (a beam-emitting Tracer Rifle). Once you've finished the story just head to the Gunsmith and it's yours.
