Destiny: 9 Reasons Even Hardcore Players Are Giving Up
2. We're Sick Of Using The Same Weapons
There are hundreds of weapons in Destiny, and the recent weapon buff has made Scout Rifles, Pulse Rifles, and Shotguns even more effective, as well as newer weapons being introduced from The Dark Below DLC, yet we still find ourselves using the same weapons.
The newest additions weren't exciting, nor were they worth upgrading. Exotic weapons like the Necrochasm, No Land Beyond, and Dragon's Breath are all terrible, not to mention the fact that they're "exotic" - the piece of gear that acts as our "chosen one".
More weapons need to be added that will make you WANT to use them - to prevent you from chucking them in your vault - to stop you from choosing the likes of the Mythoclast and the Suros Regime every time you enter the Crucible arena. Sure, those weapons work incredibly well, but it always ends up being the same thing over and over again.
If they upgraded the weapons you can get from the Raid to what will soon be 365 attack, it would prevent the likes of the Corrective Measure and Praedyth's Revenge collecting as much dust as our guardians currently are.
