Destiny: Ranking Every Raid From Worst To Best
4. Vault Of Glass (Destiny)
This was the first ever raid introduced in Destiny and is another well beloved raid. It has the good balance of difficulty (Not including the early days where Aetheon could be hilariously defeated by pushing him off using grenades), teamwork and has spectacular loot that includes the iconic Fatebringer and Vex Mythoclast exotic.
Also, this raid was the perfect way to introduce the concept of raids to not only the players, but also the developers. This raid to become a precedent for all future raids and it certainly holds its own compared to some of the Destiny 2 raids. The simplicity of this raid doesn't make it necessarily a bad thing in this case, it actually makes it a lot more enjoyable and overall better.
However, the mechanics are just not as interesting as compared to the later raids. This raid was great back in early Destiny 1 standards but when compared to later raids, it lacks a lot of what makes the newer raids good.
