Diablo 4: 9 Changes Blizzard MUST Make

4. Universal Trading

Blizzard

An overused, groan-inducing buzzword (or phrase) it may be, but Diablo 3 is one of the few instances where accusations of pay-to-win ring true. At least they did before Blizzard ripped out the offending auction house in question.

Great news at the time, but what was introduced to fill the void of that ill-conceived marketplace? Nothing. Player-to-player trading does exist in Diablo 3, but the dizzying number of restrictions in place do nought but cause frustration.

Player-driven economies, while unpredictable, are always favourable over one strictly dictated by a single overseer. Implement an actual trading interface, remove time-gated locks and, above all else, don't restrict the exchange of goods to those only in your current lobby.
