Dishonored 2: 10 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do
7. Masterwork Equipment Upgrades
While the upgrades in the first Dishonored were useful and handy, they are really somewhat necessary in the sequel. With your weapons starting off in their poorest and weakest forms, it forces the player to have to upgrade them if they want to stand the slightest chance against the Grand Guard of Karnaca.
With blueprints scattered across the levels ranging from ammunition to stealth upgrades, it’s hard not to run into at least one Blueprint. However, if you search hard enough, you may stumble upon one in particular - a Masterwork blueprint. Whilst these blueprints are a small feature, they can be used to add very powerful effects to your gear.
However, in doing so, you must choose between one of two options for each sub-set (crossbow, gun, etc...) meaning that once you choose a masterwork ability for your clothing, you can’t choose the other. Some of the choices are quite beneficial so it’s hard to choose a wrong upgrade, but if you want to make the perfect stealth character, you’re going to want to choose carefully.
