This game allows you to embrace supernatural abilities or hand to hand combat, or a combination of the both. Play as a stealth player or as an out and out fighter. How you approach the missions affects how the AI acts as the ramping of the city tension gets higher due to the high amount of out and out battles you cause, or it reacts differently if you manage to keep yourself under cover. The developers revealed that this game has multiple endings and multiple paths due to how you play and you can, if you wish, complete the game without killing a single person if you're that way inclined. In short, this game opens you to a world of potential in which you are able to craft a particular type of character who uses his powers for secrecy, uses them for battling advantage or doesn't use them at all. This is a chance to play a story in a way which you choose what to do with as little outside influence; this is creative, playing freedom at its very highest potential and helps make Dishonored look like it could be the best game of the year.
