Dragon Age Inquisition: 10 Reasons It's Saved The Franchise

1. It Just Feels Right

After the massive disappointment that was Dragon Age II, it's a relief to see that Inquisition actually feels like a real Dragon Age game. Something about the aesthetics and limited scope of the second entry made it feel like a game from an entirely different franchise, but Inquisition takes two steps forwards without ever forgetting where it came from. In Inquisition, Thedas is at times beautiful, at other times gritty and dirty. Where Dragon Age II felt overly sanitised and generic, Inquisition manages to capture the unique feel of the world we fell in love with in Origins, while the impressive graphics bring it to life more than ever. The writing is a marked improvement too and, once again, you'll want to listen to every piece of dialogue possible rather than skipping through to the action. Characters realistically interact with each other as your journey around Thedas, and it really feels like you're a part of an epic journey with war friends. Dragon Age is back.
