Dragon Age Inquisition: 16 Weird Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed
1. All Hail The Nug King!
One of the most hilarious entries in this list has to be the deeply unsettling yet strangely grandiose nug king. The nugs themselves are a staple of the Dragon Age franchise, similar to giant naked mole rats, cute with their tiny eyes and big ears, but creepy with their weird... human... hands.
During The Descent DLC, if Varric is in the party, he mentions a presumably non-nug friend of his being crowned king of the nugs. Later, the Inquisitor is able to unlock an expedition to rebuild the Heidrun Thaig Upper Bridge, and in a nearby room, they can find a cheese wheel they can gather and a note that reads:
All praise the Nug King. Sate his appetite with cheese. Older is better.
Later, in the Bastion of the Pure, a seemingly dead end ledge has a note that reads "Only those who believe may cross."
Once you step off the edge, a bridge forms seemingly magically under your feet, and running to the furthest cavern reveals that your offering of cheese has been accepted - and dozens of nugs gather to welcome an enormous and stately crowned Nug King, who judges you and your group with authority.
