Dragon Age Inquisition: 16 Weird Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed

12. The Ham Hock Weapon

Whoever named the Jade Ham really missed the opportunity for a great pun - but whoever decided that a ham hock would make a fine weapon definitely deserves a raise.

A reference to BioWare's previous game, Jade Empire, the Jade Ham is a fairly high damage one-handed ham hock weapon, its ridiculous description full of references to characters from that game hidden in amongst seemingly random words.

It comes as a reward after a war table mission from the Jaws of Hakkon DLC, in which the Inquisitor sends the friendly Avaar of Stone-Bear Hold the relics of Tyrdda Bright-Axe, the legendary Alamarri mage hero and founder of the Avaar. The weapon's stats change depending on the Inquisitor's level, which makes it ideal for a non-crafted weapon drop.

Very little else can be said of his moist, scrumptious weapon of war, except that it probably pairs well with the cheese wheel Wedge Of Destiny shield to go into full culinary battle alongside a two-handed warrior wielding the giant Boon of the Spoon.
