Dragon Age: Inquisition - 5 Things We Learned From E3

4. So Much More Customisation

Okay, so character creation was pretty good in the first two Dragon Age games. But it definitely could have been better, and in Inquisition it will be. There's the usual choice of races - Human, Dwarf or Elf - with Qunari thrown into the mix for good measure, and the option of playing as either a male or female. It's not just the customisation of characters that's been kicked up a notch, though - oh no - there's plenty more where that came from. Equipment will be automatically customised when bought or found so that it fits the body shape and outfit of whatever character dons it, and you'll have the ability to further fiddle with the colour and style of your armour and weapons. Even better, you will have complete control over the design of your keep, deciding whether your home base should be optimised for espionage, commerce or military. In the sort of huge open world environment Bioware are planning for the game, being able to carve out your own unique paths are a welcome addition.
