Dragon Ball FighterZ: 8 Overpowered Characters That Need Fixing
6. Goku
Simple but effective is how to succinctly sum up Goku's battle prowess.
The problem is, Arc has given Kakarot too many sets of training wheels as a means of accommodating newcomers, to the extent that he's able to dish out just as much pain as technical characters without having to deal with the headache of spacing and setups.
After all, why sink copious amounts of time into mastering the likes of Beerus and/or Hit when a spam-happy Goku player can throw out an endless trail of Dragon Flash Fists until one connects, leading into a Kamehameha finisher that allows little in the way of counterplay?
There's no reward for making smart plays in that scenario, which is sadly one of the reasons why a large portion of FighterZ's underused cast remains that way.
Thankfully, there are plenty of avenues to pursue a fix, mind. Either bring Son's reach and combo potential down to match his accessibility, or start subtracting numbers from his damage. Either works.
