E3 2012: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist Unveiled

Sam Fisher is set to make his return in Spring of 2013, and Ubisoft is stepping up his tactical abilities. A stage demo displayed Sam Fisher assaulting an enemy base, during the Iran/Iraq conflict. As he walks with an injured enemy in hand, shrouded in militant garments, he brings the enemy into a tent. A soldier chats with Sam back and forth, all while Fisher begins to Mark the two soldiers tending to their fallen comrade. As tensions rise, Sam swiftly grapples the first guard, and Executes the remaining two enemies. The remaining guard sounds off his personal opinions of Fisher, until he finally meets his maker. Leaving the tent we see our favorite operative in full tactical gear as he exits into the broad daylight. Sneaking through the base, we are treated to beautiful scenery surrounding him. Environments are gorgeous. Glimpsing out into the mountains beyond brings a sense of scope to the mountainside. Pushing further into the compound he uses his sonar to identify enemies ahead, and cuts through a tent silently eliminating the enemy within. Marking three more guards within the camp, he rushes out into the open, Executing all three while sprinting through the open. Sliding over the hood of a truck, he stabs another guard in front gaining another dose of Mark and Execute. Marking two more he eliminates them with precision, until finally plugging multiple rounds into the last hopeless guard. Moving through the environment, he scales the side of a cliff face pushing through to his objective.
