6. Unannounced Games
It is all well and good us getting excited about the games that we have known about for months, but that has perhaps dulled a little just before the show. We all knew a new Battlefield and Call of Duty were going to hit our shelves. The games we are really going to be talking about at the show are likely to be the ones we don't even know about yet. I imagine we will be getting a string of sequels, DLC, expansion packs and new IPs to mull over from all the big publishers and developers. Microsoft have already announced that 15 exclusives, 8 of which are new IPs, will be coming out in the console's first year and I would be really surprised if we didn't get at least a fair few of them announced at this years E3. Who knows, while Valve have said they aren't going to be at the show, they said that before they went out and announced Portal 2 anyways. Anything from their back catalogue ending in 3 would certainly cause more than its fair share of buzz. Is it likely? Probably not. Could it happen? Sure.
