E3 2014: 17 Things We'd All Love To See Happen

12. Microsoft Shows Off Super Shiny Halo 5

Perhaps Microsoft's biggest exclusive franchise is no doubt a big part of their E3 2014 presentation. Just to get excitement going they announced just a couple of weeks back that Halo 5 is coming, has the subtitle Guardians and also appears to have given Master Chief a new female Spartan chum. That's all we know so far and Halo fans around the globe are clamoring to see the first official Halo next-gen title. From what we've seen so far it appears to take place at least slightly in a desert setting (which will no doubt show off some fancy new sand particle physics). Given what developers 343 Studios did with Halo 4, it's quite exciting to see what they can do with some new hardware. 4 really pushed the Xbox 360 but with the added firepower of the One, they should be able to serve us up something really special here. Also, if rumours are to be believed - a comprehensive collection of Halo so far, that's 1, 2, 3 and 4, will be coming to Xbox One with remastered versions of all the games. If true, expect to see this one as well.
