As happens every year, the buildup to E3 brings with it rumours by the truck load. One of the most frequent currently rounding the interwebs is that Microsoft is ready to show off a new Crackdown game at E3 2014. Apparently named Crackdown: Skyline, this game will no doubt follow the vein of the original two titles, giving you access to ludicrous super-powers, forcing you to obsessively collect progression orbs and give you a great time by letting you chuck trucks at passers by. The original game was somewhat of a smash hit after it game as standard with a beta invitation to Halo 3. Most people bought it purely for this reason but were pleasantly surprised when the game underneath it actually turned out to be pretty good. It's sequel, Crackdown 2, didn't do as well but was still reasonably decent. Next-gen jumping over buildings though? We're in.
