E3 2014: 17 Things We'd All Love To See Happen

13. Sony's Project Morpheus Wows Us

We've only seen it briefly so far, but Sony's Morpheus headset looks primed and ready to bring a new and exciting experience to the gaming industry. You can pretty much guarantee at least some time of the conference will be devoted to Morpheus. We may get an official name for the headset and perhaps even some new games - apparently Little Big Planet creators Media Molecule are working on something - but it's probably too early at this point to expect pricing and a release date. We can, however, pretty much expect to be seeing a lot of demos of the technology in action. Given what we've seen so far in demos such as The Deep (where you're in a shark cage underwater) the potential for this new technology is vast. We're just looking forward to the hopefully inevitable moment where the person wearing the headset gets far too excited and wanders completely off the stage in an epic swan dive.
