Despite some dubious business decisions in the last few years, there's no doubt that Nintendo's software developers are among the most talented in the world. The teams behind the core Mario games and Zelda titles always deliver when it comes to their new games and we're really hoping that this trend continues this year when E3 2014 reveals and gives a 2015 release date for Zelda Wii U. Tantalisingly, we've already seen what a next-gen Zelda could look like thanks to the tech demo Nintendo showed a couple of years back. Hopefully this direction has been maintained in the core game and what we see will be as fantastic as other entries in the series. Those who stuck with the original Wii to the end were treated in its closing cycle to the absolutely fantastic Skyward Sword; if this one is any bit as good as that, this could really be something special. Just don't expect us to go back to not using the Wii Motion Plus for swordplay. That was awesome.
