Here's another fun title shown off at Ubisoft's conference today - one that harkens back to the days of old arcade machines and old school racers. In its brief segment it was given, Trackmania gave gamers a glimpse at some truly dynamic race tracks that enabled them to truly put their pedal to the metal in a way not many arcade racers can venture to. Its cartoonish look, whilst not incredibly mind blowing, is rather endearing in a quirky sort of way - utilising bright colours to further compliment the outlandish race courses that look as though they've just emerged from a Hot Wheel's set. The developers also showed off a new level creation system - one that builds tracks on the fly at the press of a button, where they are then constructed from the ground up in front of the player's eyes. It looks absolutely zany despite its apparent shortcomings, and will no doubt charm a great many fans come its release on the 27th November. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3piye62BYf4
