E3 2015: 10 Big Reveals From Ubisoft's Conference

3. AC: Syndicate's Gang Warfare

Out of all the projects at E3 this year Assassin's Creed arguably had the most to prove. It was quite a shame then to see that Ubisoft were playing the title quite close to their chest - showing off a short demo and a CGI trailer that aimed to paint a picture of Jacob Frye's personality instead of any substantial gameplay. It wasn't all doom and gloom however, as what was shown off looked relatively promising. The game looks more polished than when it was previously shown to the public, and seeing trains zoom through the tracks of Victoria Station really doesn't get old - especially when Jacob is doing battle with a whole load of Templar thugs atop one as well. The final shot of sister Evie stood atop Big Ben's tower really demonstrated just how determined the developers are to make London the most authentic Assassin's Creed setting yet, and it definitely shows. Whether this is enough to win back audiences left sour by Unity's release is anyone's guess, but at this stage it certainly looks as though Syndicate is trying its hardest t rectify the mistakes last year's release made all too clumsily. Here's hoping Evie Fry gets more time in the spotlight before Syndicate hits shelves this Autumn. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vc0waXUjtg
