E3 2016: 9 Ups & 5 Downs From Sony's Conference

Sony steamrolls the competition.

Death Stranding Detroit Become Human
Kojima Productions & Quantic Dream

After every prior E3 2016 conference served up a relatively mixed bag of announcements, out came Sony late in the game to deliver an outstanding show (for the most part) that easily "won" E3, as Internet commentators love to argue about.

As Sony have made a habit of over the last few years, they kept it mostly about the games above all else, eschewing the cringe of Ubisoft or the delineated "features" discussions of Microsoft in favour of almost wall-to-wall game reveals.

It made for an extremely exciting feeling of "What the hell could come next?", and duly, the surprises just kept on arriving. It won't all be for everyone, but it's hard to argue against Sony's recent knack for giving fans what they want.

Kicking off with what we didn't like, here are 9 ups and 5 downs from Sony's E3 2016 press conference...
