E3 2016: 9 Ups & 5 Downs From Sony's Conference

Fans have been asking for more Crash Bandicoot games for years, and Sony finally responded at E3, by announcing that the beloved original trilogy would be getting "remastered from the ground up" for release next year.
While many were disappointed that an entirely new Crash game wasn't announced and the phrasing of "remaster" rather than "remake" caused a lot of confusion, all things considered this is definitely huge news.
For starters, if these games succeed, then a new Crash game will almost definitely happen, and secondly, there's no way that 20-year-old games can have their assets remastered for a PS4 release: the words "ground up" basically suggest this will be in the same vein as the terrific recent Ratchet and Clank remake.
In short, be excited, because it's all finally happening.
