E3 2017: 6 Ups & 4 Downs From Bethesda's Conference
1. Everything Shown Will Be Released In 2017
One of the most common complaints about E3 is that the conferences promote too many games too early, with both Sony and Microsoft having a history of announcing games that aren't due out for two, three or maybe even four years.
Bethesda clearly wanted to combat that, and so every single game that appeared on their conference will be released in 2017. This surely accounts for the show's brevity, and while it was a disappointingly minimalist show, at least they focused on the next six months rather than endlessly hyping games players won't get to touch until 2020.
Even though the likes of Quake Champions and Doom VFR were left without release dates, at least fans can be safe in the security that they'll definitely get to play them this year.
