E3 2017: 8 Ups & 7 Downs From Microsoft's Conference
6. Crackdown 3 Looks Incredibly Underwhelming
Crackdown 3 is one of many games that Microsoft announced way too early, considering it was originally unveiled during E3 2014. Word has been quiet on it recently, but it finally re-emerged during Microsoft's show this year, and the results were, well, not good.
Though it finally landed a release date of November 7th (yes, it's an Xbox One X launch title), the short gameplay trailer showed a clear visual regression from what's been demonstrated in previous years.
Though it's already well-known that the single-player mode won't benefit from the terrific cloud-driven gameplay of the multiplayer offering, it still looked far below the standard gamers expect from the Xbox One, and certainly the Xbox One X.
