E3 2018: 10 Heavily Rumoured Video Games We Want To See

7. The Next Fable

Lionhead may not be around anymore, but that doesn't mean that the Fable series can't continue in the new generation.

After Microsoft's cancellation of Fable Legends and closure of Lionhead studios, it was pretty safe to assume that we wouldn't be seeing any more of the Fable series for a good amount of time, but if recent rumours are to be believed then we might not be waiting long at all.

According to several leaks, the next game in the Fable series, codenamed Wisdom, will be developed by the Forza Horizon developers, PlayGround Games. Although work isn't very far along, the fact that the game might be in development is news enough.

With the game barely into development, does it really warrant an announcement at this year's E3? Microsoft's list of exclusives looks more and more anaemic as the year goes on, and they really need to bring their A-game in reassuring Xbox owners that great things are to come.

The teasing of the next Fable game is certainly a good way of doing that.
