E3 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen At Sony's Conference

God of War was so positively received that it would be incredibly silly for Sony to not continue Kratos and Atreus' adventure in some way.

Sony Santa Monica haven't actually confirmed that God of War will have any DLC content at all, but it seems so ripe for an opportunity to do so that it's unlikely that they'd ignore it.

Considering there are a ton of different realms in God of War that remain unexplored and a two year time gap until the next game, there are plenty of ways that God of War could be continued.

Even if the DLC took place during the game or before it, any chance to expand upon the world of Midgard would be a big win for Sony. God of War was so greatly loved by fans and critics that continuing it is a no-brainer.

We saw a similar thing happen with Horizon: Zero Dawn last year, where it was announced that it would be getting the Frozen Wilds DLC pack.
