5. Star Fox: Grand Prix

As Nintendo continue to not really know what to do with the Star Fox license, Grand Prix is - at least - a working title for a WipeOut/F-Zero-style spin-off.

Coming from Nintendo Life's own Liam Robertson and corroborated by Eurogamer, Star Fox: Grand Prix's base gameplay will be the standard "spaceship-based combat" of the aforementioned titles, albeit with us flying Arwings and blasting Slippy Toad into a thousand pieces instead of random vehicles and no-namers.

Breaking up the racing will be a third-person "adventure" mode where you'll get to talk to NPCs and explore various planets - likely taking just enough cues from Star Fox Adventures, though whether there'll be combat is still up in the air.

It all sounds promising, to say the least.
