E3 2018: 12 Showcased Video Games We Still Know Nothing About
10. Nioh 2
Nioh 2 is happening. Which makes Nioh the first replication of the Souls formula by a developer other than From Software to get a direct sequel. Which makes said sequel incredibly interesting. But beyond it's existence there is not much to be discussed.
Sure, we know what it's' going to be like. It'll be a third-person action game, with Japanese influences and drawing from Japanese history. But when it comes to the details of how it differs from the original, we don't know much.
It may just be a simple continuation or a stride in a completely new direction. But, considering FromSoftware's Sekiro has a similar thematic background, maybe it was a smart move on Nioh's part to wait until the fireworks to stop before piping up.
