E3 2018: 15 Leaked Video Games You're Not Supposed To Know About

10. Assassin's Creed (Either 2018 Sequel Or Reboot)

Assassins Creed Dynasty
Ubisoft

At time of writing, all we have for this is a listing that plainly states, "Assassin's Creed".

Now, I'm thinking two possibilities:

1. It's a full-on reboot. AC Origins ended with both Bayek and Aya forming "The Hidden Ones" as the first incarnation of the assassins themselves, leaving the series open to soft-reboot territory. Assumedly we'd get a new Desmond-esque figure, a host of new abilities and a fairly new direction for the coming canon to mould itself around.

2. It's another sequel, but the specific subtitle is yet to be announced. I can only imagine if this is the case, that AC will get pride of place at Ubisoft's conference, likely closing out the show if Beyond Good & Evil 2 is a no-show.

Regardless, this confirms another Assassin's Creed is on the way in 2018, putting the franchise back on an annual release schedule - at least for now.
