To their (very minor) credit, EA didn't just brush the Star Wars Battlefront II controversy under the rug while shilling new DLC for the game, and held their hands up regarding its botched launch.

In addition to announcing the introduction of squads and several new gameplay modes, it was confirmed that the Clone Wars, a much-loved aspect of Star Wars lore that hasn't yet been explored in Battlefront II, will be arriving by way of some DLC later this year.

Characters such as General Grievous, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Count Dooku and Anakin Skywalker will be included, alongside the planet Geonosis featured in Attack of the Clones.

Though many clearly fled the game after its appalling launch, news like this just might be intriguing enough to lure some of the sceptics back.
