E3 2019: 12 Insane Announcements That Could Happen

3. Ubisoft Reboots Prince Of Persia

Ubisoft is arguably the best game publisher, as it manages to put out incredible titles that fans love whilst towing the line of live services in a way that isn't egregious. The company puts out a diverse array of titles, from Far Cry to South Park, Rainbow Six to Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs to Steep, The Division to Mario + Rabbids, all with a consistency and continuity that draws parallels to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, Ubisoft is sitting on a few IP that fans are desperate to see return, whether that's Splinter Cell, Rayman, or Prince of Persia. Splinter Cell is almost assuredly returning, and Rayman will hopefully see another instalment someday.

The one that really stands out from the list is Prince of Persia. The last PoP game came out in 2008 - unless you count the 2018 mobile game Prince of Persia: Escape. The series has a lot of love and a cult fan base, so a return would be welcomed with open arms.

What does a modern Prince of Persia game look like though? Is it open-world? Same character? While Assassin's Creed may have been born from Prince of Persia, it's high time we revisit the ancient land of Persia for a new adventure.
