7. The Outer Worlds Releases October 25

Obsidian Entertainment's (Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth) new RPG The Outer Worlds made its debut at The Game Awards last December, and during Microsoft's E3 presser, a brief gameplay trailer revealed that players won't be waiting long to get their hands on it.

The game will release on October 25th of this year, just narrowly avoiding the wallet onslaught that November is fast becoming, what with Death Stranding, Pokémon Sword and Shield, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Shenmue III and Doom Eternal all set to bow during that month.

Best of all, The Outer Worlds will be released day-and-date on Xbox Game Pass, which given its otherwise exclusive presence on the Epic Games Store, will be music to the ears of many players.
