Overall: 90Striking: 90Ground: 88Submissions: 86 Firstly, how a combination of 90, 88 and 86 manages to give an overall rating of 90 is completely beyond us. To save you working it out, the average comes to 88. It seems like the hype surrounding Saffiedine must have been particularly high when EA Sports and Dana came together to decide the ratings. While Saffiedine is on a win streak, his record is distinctly lacking in notable names. Though he holds wins over Roger Bowling and Nate Marquardt, the rest of his wins leave you mostly saying, who? (six of them dont even have a wikipedia page thats when you really know its bad). The decision to rate Saffiedines striking at a lofty 90 is a little strange as only one of his wins has come by way of TKO or KO. Saffiedine may be a very good technical striker but he has demonstrated a lack of power in his UFC fights. Interestingly, he actually has 5 wins by submission but is rated a mere 86 this rating would normally be fine, but the overall generosity of the stats makes it seem a little stingy. There is no doubt Saffiedine has a lot of potential to progress in the sport but this rating at his current level is very befuddling and his inclusion over the likes of more established welterweights like Tyron Woodley, Dong Hyun Kim and Matt Brown is baffling. Suggested Overall Rating:87
