Highly upgrading this weapon is a good option to consider, although be wary; some players online have rumoured that this can significantly change your PVP matchmaking.

The easiest way to find this weapon involves killing Banished Knights at Stormveil Castle - There are ways to farm these enemies but an abundance of these knights can be found in and around the castle.

The Banished Knight's Halberd +8 can also be found in its already upgraded form upon defeating Edgar, The Revenger. Edgar is an NPC invader who can be found as the player approaches the Revenger's Shack after completing the Irina and Edgar questline (You also need to have touched the mark of grace near the shack). Edgar is pretty weak to magic, so consider this when fighting this foe.
