9. Godwyn The Golden
Next up from the Demigod crew, we've got Godwyn the Golden.
Despite being apparently very dead according to Elden Ring's story trailer, Godwyn is surely a strong candidate for not only one of the game's most epic bosses, but possibly even the final boss altogether.
Death rarely means much in From Software's games, and Elden Ring seems to revolve around the cycle of death too. In the story trailer, Godwyn is seen bleeding out on the ground before the camera pans to his eye, which begins to twitch and seemingly mutate.
You know what that means everyone! Godwyn is gonna come back to life!
There is another boss called Godrick the Golden too; we don't know if this is actually Godwyn resurrected or someone else entirely, but we wouldn't be surprised given the scope of this game if there's space for two golden boys.
We know little about him at the moment apart from apparently the Rune of Death was stolen, and the Demigods began to fall, starting with Godwyn himself. With him being the first to die, we have little doubt he'll be an important player in the overall arching plot of Elden Ring.
