4. High Rock

Home to the Bretons and an Imperial Province, High Rock hasn't been the focus of an Elder Scrolls title for decades. While you can of course travel there in Elder Scrolls: Online, it's about time the setting made a comeback elsewhere, sporting a medieval theme as opposed to Skyrim's Nordic-Roman hybrid.

Adept in magic and renowned as scholars, Bretons frequently appeared in Skyrim and have occupied areas of key influence in numerous Elder Scrolls titles. A thorough exploration of High Rock as a location is still yet to happen though, and with forests, mountainous regions and rocky areas the region's key geographical features, comparisons between it and the sole teaser for the series' sixth entry make plenty of sense.

It might not be as big or as grand as Skyrim, which presents a few issues, but who's to say that High Rock won't form one of several different locales? With the next title said to be developing with the next generation in mind, it's not completely unfeasible.

That, and past Elder Scrolls titles have taken similar approaches, so it's not without precedent.
