Supermassive Games

Release Date: August 30th

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One

While Supermassive Games is hardly the most famous studio, amongst ardent gamers they have a beloved reputation due to their cult title Until Dawn; a stellar horror game and likely the peak example of the interactive movie game genre.

Since that game, the studio has been wasted on several lukewarm peripheral projects for Sony. Now finally they’ve broken their decade long exclusive relationship with the publisher going multi-platform to bring this long-awaited successor to Dawn.

Not only does the game look to offer their trademark chills, top-notch motion capture and loving genre homage - but also is attempting to push the hesistant interactive movie formula forward with innovating mechanics such as local or online co-op.

Wherever you stand on the divisive interactive movie sub-genre, there's no denying this is exciting, exciting stuff...
