13. Commandos 2 HD Remaster

The Commando series is a sadly forgotten series that petered out due to an unsuccessful jump to FPS. The strength of the originals was combining the top-down strategic RTS genre and mixing it with hardcore stealth gameplay. Essentially it was a blend of Command & Conquer with Metal Gear Solid...and it worked beautifully.

At least, we’re getting a fine remastering of the strongest instalment in the franchise now. If you missed this the first time and fancy some unique, retro (and painfully difficult) PC action...give this one a go.
