9. The Lego Movie
As far as video games based on movies go, this one's actually not bad. Sure, it does nothing new with the Lego game formula, but it's a fun accompaniment to the movie that helps flesh out the world and characters.
Using clips from the movie does seem a little lazy, and there's almost none of the self-referential humour that fans have come to expect from these franchise tie-ins, but the moment-to-moment platforming is a blast,
It's certainly nowhere near as awesome as the movie itself and the linearity does get a bit grating after a few hours of play, but for kids who loved the film, it's a totally solid companion piece.
