11. Far Cry New Dawn

Far Cry New Dawn
Ubisoft

The epitome of reused assets with a new lick of paint, New Dawn - like Far Cry Primal and its reused Far Cry 4 map - marks Ubisoft churning out "more of the same" for those who want it.

Unlike when they were doing this for Assassin's Creed though (when AC:Unity saw the franchise buckle under its own weight), Far Cry knows exactly what it can offer, and does so with dependable reliability.

Very much a 6 out of 10 game, story-wise you're dropped into the apocalyptic ending of Far Cry 5 where nature has regrown, tasked with ridding Hope County from some dayglo thugs as damage numbers pop off their heads and a map is slowly ridden of fog.

The world knows EXACTLY what Far Cry is now, and providing you can get on board with a budget re-run scratching that itch all over again, New Dawn is solid enough.
