4. Pokemon: Sword And Shield

It's odd to think this is only the second time the Pokemon series has appeared on consoles and the first proper new instalment of this generation (last year's entry was a remake).

Sword and Shield are the dual instalments we're getting on Switch. New features to the mainline games include a vastly explorable open-world, competitive group raids and Gigantimax Pokemon forms.

While there has been an odd backlash towards the game due to not all existing Pokemon being included, for most series fans, this the current-gen they've been waiting for...
