Blatantly a throwback to the great platforms of the early '90s, which is accented in its lush SNES pixel design, Eagle Island looks like it could be the next in a line of incredible retro indies (e.g. Shovel Knight) that have emerged consistently over the last few years.

The promos have showcased features like deep exploration, challenging combat and break-neck platforming. It also comes with the added bonus of being able to play in Story, Roguelite or Speedrun Mode.
