3. Alien Archivist (Mothership Zeta DLC)

This achievement/trophy is awarded upon completion of The Legend of Zeta quest, which just so happens to be freeform and completely unmarked, requiring the player to become Capital Wasteland Columbos. The Mothership is an unwelcoming environment at the best of times, but to earn the title of Alien Archivist you must collect 25 alien captive recordings from various nooks, crannies and corners. The logs are worth collecting on their own merit, their content alternating between hilarious and disturbing, but you need to be careful not to move the story along too quickly: once the main DLC quest is wrapped up, you'll only have access to nine of the 25 recordings. Little wonder this trophy has proven so elusive for Fallout 3 players the world over.
