8. Vehicles
(Vehicles are not a crucial element for the gameplay of Fallout, but they can be an element to add depth.) This is one of the highly contested ideas for Fallout, but it cannot be denied that they have existed in the Fallout universe (
Fallout 2), and Fallout 4 may afford an opportunity for small vehicles to be built or earned, and these vehicles could be anything from motorcycles to all-terrain vehicles. As can be seen in Fallout NV, there are various motorcycle parts that can be found around the game, as well as frames, so the idea would be to take that, and make them salvageable (such as finding a mostly-functional carburetor here and few parts to a motor there) and at some point the character can craft/build the motorcycle, or find someone who can. Perhaps the vehicle is the only way you can get to a certain area in the game, who knows? Of course, we'd have to scavenge for clean petrol and keep up maintenance on the vehicle so that it wouldn't be a fully viable form of transport all of the time. Would it work? Maybe not. Would it represent something that is possible in a real-life post-apocalyptic world? Definitely.
