Fallout 4: 10 New Mods That Make It Even Better (Jan 2016)

6. Add Some Colour

(Download it here) A mod for Fallout 4's in-game map may not sound like a particularly exciting prospect considering the crazy mods that people create, but it's far more useful than you may think. After all, you've undoubtedly spent multiple hours of game time gawking at your Pip-Boy screen - the map in particular - trying to figure out just where in the hell you're supposed to be going at any given moment. Calling the vanilla map an eyesore is a bit of an exaggeration, but there's no denying that its clashing black and neon green colours start to grate after a while. So how about a fully coloured map that's easy on the eyes, and comes with a built-in marker system to show which locations have the tastiest loot? Bobbleheads and unique weapons are just two of the many things this map mod makes easier for you find, and looks good while doing it too.
