Fallout 4: 10 Rumours You Should Actually Believe

2. Mod Support On Consoles

Fallout 3 B This one might be thought of as wishful thinking, but given that the next generation of games consoles are essentially going to have the infrastructure of PCs, it would make a lot of sense if Bethesda embraced the modding community for Xbox One and PS4 as openly as they have with the PC. While it would complicate things somewhat if the game had co-op play, and there will no doubt be issues about mods affecting trophies/achievements, but if modding was perhaps enabled only for single-player use, then that would be a fair compromise to allow modding to take place on consoles. Given how dedicated and meticulous the PC modding community is - by creating new skins, weapons, and even adjusting the parameters of the game to make it more difficult - it's a shame that console gamers have had to miss out so far, but for the next-gen, this could easily be fixed. All the game needs is a mod-loader app, something which shouldn't be too hard to implement.
