6. Improved Map with Visible Roads
(Link to Download) Pictured above is the Improved Map with Visible Roads mod created by mm137. Ive been running this mod constantly since it was released. Why? Well, because although Fallout 3 managed this pretty well, the map in Fallout 4 is downright undecipherable. The colours look washed out, the roads are almost completely undistinguishable and the whole thing looks like its covered in a thick sheet of dirt. This was such a problem for me that I honestly considered just giving up on the game, that is until the Improved Map mod came along and saved me. As you can see from the image above, the improvements are dramatic, brightening the screen and highlighting the roads enough that they can actually be seen. Another essential fix on a very basic level.
