Fallout 4: 21 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do

4. Link All Your Workshops Together

In many open-world RPGs, you'll usually get access to a safehouse or some sort of place where you can stash items, that's then accessible from anywhere. We never worry about the logistics of all manner of items warping around the place, because it's just too damn handy. In Fallout 4 though - a game where having access to a specific list of materials and items across the map is actually pivotal to success in the Settlement mode - you'd be remiss for thinking it didn't exist. For some reason, even after you find yourself in charge of wrangling together the locals under your cause, you need to set this stockpile stuff up manually. First grab the Local Leader perk (Charisma level six), and head over to a Settler you've not assigned to another job or part of the environment. After interacting with them in the Construction menu, you'll be able to send them between your various zones, establishing what are known as 'Supply Lines' where the vast majority of your items will get ferried from place to place.
