Fallout 4 Far Harbor
Bethesda

Arlen Glass was like a classic movie Dad in a 1990s family film. An over-worker who put his career before his family, Arlen spent long nights at the office trying to perfect the Giddyup Buttercup, a new toy he was working on at the Atomatoys HQ in the heart of the Commonwealth.

However, with his new invention not gaining traction with the higher ups in the company, Arlen began working even longer hours to the point of ignoring his family. A chat log found at the HQ sheds light on one particular evening where he was supposed to pick up his daughter, but she ended up wandering back home without her father after he didn't show up to meet her.

But it turns out this particular evening was the day the bombs fell on Boston, meaning that Arlen's workaholic nature resulting in him not being able to be with his loved ones during their final moments.

You can even find Arlen as a Ghoul at The Slog, who tells you that after everything happened, he went back to his home intending to die with the remains of his family. Obviously, fate had a different punishment in store.

Arlen eventually leaves The Slog for good, but not before listening to a recording of his daughter one last time and giving you a special Giddyup Buttercup he made just for her.
