They dont come any more influential than the original Wasteland. Brian Fargos end-of-days RPG was the inspiration for the Fallout series, not to mention countless other games. Its sequel was an eternity in the making, but a phenomenally successful Kickstarter campaign got it off the ground in 2013, allowing players to revisit a world shaped by thermonuclear war in glorious high resolution. Wasteland 2 was a worthy heir to Fargos opus, recapturing the old-school joys of top-down roleplaying, turn-based combat, Desert Rangers, and Skynet-esque AI that wants to wipe the remains of humanity off the face of a decaying Earth.
